Open Access Resources
The special collection of the Silliman University Library includes rare books, Sillimaniana collection, the World War Records, and Ulahingan. These are digitized so that the physical materials will be preserved since these are already irreplaceable, rare, out of print, and valuable. Access to these special collections are available at the Filipiniana and Sillimaniana Sections of the University Library.
PIDS studies have supported the Philippine government in the formulation of relevant policies and programs that are vital to attain inclusive and sustainable development. The mission of Open Access Digital Theological Library (OADTL) is to curate high-quality content in religious studies and related disciplines from publisher websites, institutional repositories, scholarly societies, archives, and stable public domain collections.
FILIPINIANA
Titles relevant to students in k-12 levels were lifted from various sources that allow for free public use and sharing. International sources of titles include Gutenberg.org and Storyweaver.org.in. Local titles were provided by the Bureau of Learning Resources of the Department of Education of the Philippines.
CD Asia Online is a database of Philippine laws and jurisprudence. The content is gathered only from official sources and includes the complete text, footnotes and images.
ERIC (Education Resources Information Center) is an authoritative database of indexed and full-text education literature and resources. Sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences of the U.S. Department of Education, it is an essential tool for education researchers of all kinds.
